Based on the track record of our quality & excellent services, the client has once again engaged EI Maven in the project for bid evaluation from different contractor, design review, additional geophysical & geotechnical investigation if deemed necessary & design support during construction.
The proposed Lower Erkhuwa Khola Hydropower Project (14.15 MW) is located in Khadananda Municipality of Bhojpur District. The project area can be reached through Kathmandu-Tumlingtar (Sankhuwasabha) road followed by gravel road up to Chewabesi from Tumlingtar. The road from Bhojpur to Majuwabesi (Powerhouse site) is single lane fair weather earthen track (about 49 km). Lower Erkhuwa Khola Hydropower Project is a run-of-river type of hydropower project and has installed capacity of 14.15 MW with design discharge of 11.20 m3/sec and rated net head of 145.78 m. The project is capable of delivering 79.79 GWh of energy annually to NEA grid at proposed Sitalpati 33kV substation at Shankhuwashabha.
