The project consist of preparation of Due Diligence Study of hydrological studies of the project . The Consultant has completed all the assignment as per ToR.
The proposed Myagdi Khola Hydropower Project will utilize the flow available in Myagdi Khola which is a tributary of the Kaligandaki River. The Kaligandaki River is later evacuated into the one of the main river, Saptagandaki River in Deughat. As per FSR and PPA, the design discharge of the project is 12.5 m3/s at 38 % and 41 % Probability of Exceedance (PoE) respectively. As per FSR and PPA, the gross head of the project is 564.00 m and rated net head is 537.62 m. The proposed headworks of the project is located downstream of confluence of Myagdi and Kunaban Khola at Dhovan. The powerhouse is proposed on the right bank of Myagdi Khola at Bagara Village, about 7500 m downstream from the Myagdi-Kunabaan confluence at Mudi Village.
